osu!ghost

osu!ghost is a leaderboard for players who wish they could reset their progress, without giving up the account they already have.

Why it exists

Your real osu! profile pp is calculated from your all-time top plays, so once you've been playing a while it barely reflects how you're doing today. osu!ghost recalculates pp using only the scores you've set within a tracking window, with osu!'s real weighting (100%, 95%, 90.25%, and so on), so your spot on the leaderboard shows what your pp would look like if you started fresh right now.

How tracking works

Players aren't tracked by default. Search for your account on osu!ghost and opt in to start tracking; from that point on, your session pp and the scores behind it show up on your profile and on the leaderboard. There's no opt-out from the site itself: only inactivity ends a tracking session.

Right now there's a single tracked window: session, from when you start playing until you stop. 24-hour, 7-day, and manually resettable windows are planned.
